Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs)

Temporary anchorage devices, or TADs, are small titanium anchors you can choose to use in certain orthodontic cases to help achieve tooth movement more quickly, efficiently, and with as much comfort as possible. TADs are used to help straighten teeth in complex cases when braces alone are not enough to achieve the best results.

The placing of TADs are quick and when your treatment is complete, the TADs are removed. If you have any questions about TADs, please let us know at your next appointment.

Wilkodontics®

Wilkodontics, also called Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics™ (AOO™), is a surgical procedure designed to give patients a new smile in less than one year. Wilkodontics is a great alternative for teen and adult patients who have put off orthodontic treatment to avoid years of wearing braces and retainers.

Patients receiving treatment with Wilkodontics are typically in braces from three to nine months, and wear a retainer for six months after the braces have been removed. Treatments are quick, comfortable, and require fewer checkup appointments.
