Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs)

Temporary anchorage devices, or TADs, are small titanium anchors you can choose to use in certain orthodontic cases to help achieve tooth movement more quickly, efficiently, and with as much comfort as possible. TADs are used to help straighten teeth in complex cases when braces alone are not enough to achieve the best results.

The placement of TADs is quick and when your treatment is complete, the TADs are removed. If you have any questions about TADs, please let us know at your next appointment.
